Nobody knows the trouble I've seen We will rise above, but the damage is done Darkness in the night the time is right We will rise above, but the damage is done All that is lost cannot be saved We will rise above, but the damage is done Si se puede, Aye Aye Aye

You left too soon. There was never enough time. It took all I had to let you go. I'll never forget you. I'll never forget you. Remember the day, we stood side by side Waking up to walk this road together and always Believe me when I say I miss you forever and always. I'll never forget you. I'll carry you in my heart always. Believe me when I say I'll miss you forever and always.

Don't you wanna see, what this can be If we take this on We can sail the wild wild sea Climb the highest peak Take my hand sweet darling There's no worry baby Let's dance in the flames and leave our remains As if nothing ever really matterd Let's take in our last drink Pour it out together And burn in hell forever Don't you wanna see, what this can be If we take this on

Dear God, make me a bird So I can fly, Away, Away Dear God, make me a bird So I can fly, Away, Away You said there would be a light To guide You said there would be a light To guide

Se Puede 04:24
Ay no se puede, ay no se puede Ay no se puede Ay no se puede Oh, you can’t, you just can’t Oh, you can’t, you just can’t Ay! Olvidar lo que se quiere Ay! Olvidar lo que se quiere Oh! Forget that which you love Oh! Forget that which you love Ay no se puede ¡Ay! No se puede Oh, you can’t, you just can’t Ay algún día entre sollozo Ay algún día entre sollozo Oh one day through sobs Oh one day through sobs Y entre lágrimas de amor Y entre lágrimas de amor And through tears of love And through tears of love Ay algún día entre sollozo Oh oneway through sobs Que cuando un amor se quiere Que cuando un amor se quiere That when there’s a love you desire That when there a love you desire Cuando se ama de verdad Cuando se ama de verdad And when you truly love And when you truly love Ay no se puede, ay no se puede Oh, you can’t, you just can’t Ay porque un amor que se quiere Ay porque un amor que se quiere Oh because a love that you desire Oh because a love that you desire Ay solo con la tumba muere Ay solo con la tumba muere Can only die in the grave An only die in the grave Ay no se puede, ay no se puede Oh, you can’t you just can’t Vendrás a mi pidiendo amor Vendrás a mi pidiendo amor You’ll come to me asking for love You’ll come to me asking for love Ay algún día entre sollozo Ay algún día entre sollozo Oh one day through sobs Oh one day through sobs Ay cuando ya no exista yo Oh when I no longer exist Que cuando un amor se quiere Que cuando un amor se quiere That when there’s a love you desire That when there’s a love you desire Cuando se ama de verdad Cuando se ama de verdad And when you truly love And when you truly love Ay no se puede no se puede Oh, you can’t, you just can’t

about

Inspired by her Spanish heritage, eclectic upbringing, and recent travels, including an ongoing sabbatical in the New Mexico mountains, CAMÍNA is the culmination of Dallas-based musician Ariel Saldivar’s life. “Camina,” means “walk,” and her debut album, Te Quiero Mucho, dreamily wanders through personal narratives about love and loss, ruminations on current events, and finding strength in the face of adversity.

“This record is about resilience and honoring my heritage and those that have come before us,” says Saldivar.

Drawing on various genres such as electronic music, trip hop, lo-fi, R&B, and the avant-garde, Te Quiero Mucho features deep base infused with hazy, crackling instrumentals, layered with Saldivar’s soulful vocals. A chameleonic desert chanteuse with a sharp tongue and a soft heart, CAMÍNA shifts between frustrated longing (“Cinnamon”), playfully quirky (“Burn For Eternity’), and heartfelt desire (“Forever and Always”). One could imagine her singing in a dusty roadside chapel, strains of organ music wafting through the air, a radio tuned to a Spanish station lazily buzzing in the background.
